Wicked Surrender (Berkley Sensation)
So I was told write something about love and romance because, of course, February is the month of love. But how to say anything that hasn’t been said? Okay, here’s the deep dark discovery I just had this morning. And it really is a deep, dark secret because it’s not something I want to deal with. But writers write about their issues, so I’m writing about mine.

How do you know if you love your husband? My hubby and I have been together for over half our lives. We’ve raised two kids who are now in their twenties. He’s seen me through major depressions, publishing horror stories, and more than a few fits of the whiny pouts. (I am the QUEEN of the whiny pout, my kids being–in order–the Goddess of the Pout and the Revenge of the Whine). He’s been patient, supportive, and usually an all around good guy.
Wicked Seduction (Berkley Sensation)

But do I LOVE him? Back when we met, we had this hot salsa kind of lust. Spicy, dangerous, never enough. Now it’s more like a low belly warmth. He’s my guy, and we’re good together. And when he does the dishes, well, then he’s hot enough to give a really big, wet kiss to. And when he does the taxes, he’s a veritable god, at least until the check is written and the paperwork is filed.

But do I LOVE him? That under the skin, core deep feeling of gushy warmth? Is it there? Certainly it has been. He’s got this deadpan delivery of witty come backs that always takes me by surprise and makes me laugh. And I always smile when he talks to my cat. In fact, he and the feline often have extensive conversations and I end up giggling in the other room when I hear it. And I gotta say, I love it when he goes all maintenance on my car. I don’t know what he does to the thing, but I’m sure it’s important.
In Good Hands (Harlequin Blaze)

But is that LOVE? Maybe…yes. I think so. Maybe it’s the new form of love for empty nesters. Maybe it’s the fact that I can’t imagine life without him. And the times we’ve been apart have been BORING. Last time he travelled, I started talking to myself out loud. Like a crazy person. It took me all of 36 hours before I started talking out loud to myself.

But is that LOVE???? You tell me. And one lucky commenter will win a copy of my latest Jade Lee book — WICKED SEDUCTION about a wicked pirate at last returning home to find everything and nothing at home has changed.

~*~*~*~*~*Giveaway*~*~*~*~*~

Like Jade said, she’s givingaway a signed copy of WICKED SEDUCTION (out March 1st) to ONE lucky US commenter and all you have to do is answer her question!

Wicked Seduction (Berkley Sensation)
A MAN INTENT ON JUSTICE…

After seven years of battling for survival on a pirate ship, Kit Frazier returns to England to right a wrong and make peace with what he lost. But once in London, he finds himself unexpectedly at sea, caught in his swirling attraction to the beguiling and elusive Maddy.

A WOMAN DETERMINED TO BE FREE…

Maddy will do anything to escape the desperate circumstances of her life, and helping her cousin Rose catch the man of her dreams seems an easy enough task–until Maddy meets the handsome pirate captain Kit. The dashing rogue has only two purposes: to rescue the boy in his care and to seduce Maddy into his bed.

A LOVE WITHOUT END

With each heated encounter, Kit pulls Maddy off her stated course. But when treachery threatens them all, she will have to choose between a respectable future and wicked, wonderful seduction.

Jade Lee has broken new ground in multi-cultural romance. Her China-set historical romances are a first in genre history. Her six-book Tigress series stirred reader passions for foreign settings, and her fantasy romances continue to be ground-breaking. Where did she get such innovative ideas? From a mixed cultural heritage that brings unique vision to her fiction.

As the daughter of a Shanghai native and a staunch Indiana Hoosier, Jade Lee struggled to find her own identity somewhere between America and China. Her search has taken her throughout Asian and the United States. In the end, the answer was found not only at home, but in her own head. Her imagination allows her to explore China in her Tigress series, dragon power in her fantasy romance Dragonborn, and of course, the amazing power of love in all of them.

A USA Today bestseller, Jade “Lee has made her mark with sizzling romances whose unique settings, intriguing backdrops and exotic characters lure you into worlds where heaven is reached through the highest meeting of mind and body. It’s a world at once mysterious and erotic, secret and mind-expanding.” (Romantic Times BOOKreviews on Cornered Tigress)
